Mt. Hood Meadows is Your Mountain Home—a place for families, beginners, experts, and every kind of adventurer to explore winter in their own way. Operating on a special use permit in the Mt. Hood National Forest, we offer some of the Northwest’s most diverse terrain, from gentle learning zones to wide-open bowls, powder-filled canyons, and scenic Nordic & Snowshoe trails that make getting outside both fun and affordable.

Located 35 miles—and about 50 minutes—from Hood River, Meadows delivers big-mountain skiing and snowboarding close to home, along with accessible family-friendly terrain and budget-friendly activities like Nordic skiing and snowshoeing. We’re also home to youth wilderness and snow-based camps that build confidence, skills, and a lifelong love for the outdoors.
