Food Preservation Workshop: Freezer Jam

Looking for something fun to do this fall? Learn the basics of preserving fruit by making freezer jam.

Join Hood River County 4-H for a series of hands-on food preservation workshops for youth ages 9-18. Participants will make refrigerator pickles, freezer jam, fruit leather, and apple and kale chips while learning the science and food safety skills behind preserving food.

You do not need to be a 4-H member to participate, and you're welcome to sign up for one class or all four.

Cost: $5 per class, financial assistance available
