K-3 Homeschool Art + Theatre Club

This is our first ever theatre + art combined club! Each subject will be about 45 minutes with a snack/lunch break in between. We're excited to gather a fun group of kids who love to create art and enjoy theatre together! Below are the descriptions of our traditionally separate clubs:

Art Club

Come get your creativity on! Learn about new mediums, the creative process, self expression, and so much more during our Visual Arts Club. Each day will include an interesting art exploration, opening crafting time with weekly creative prompts, and a chance for young artists to show and share their work! Students will have the opportunity to design, create, present, respond to, and connect with art from a wide variety of mediums and explore their own creativity with curiosity-lead art practices. Come prepared for mess and of course lots of fun!

Theatre Club

Explore your creativity using your body, voice, and imagination in this Theatre Arts Club! Each day we will engage in theatre exercises and games that challenge us to use our actor's tools, work together, and grow our confidence as theatre makers. Students will have opportunities to work with and learn about theatrical elements such as props, costumes, lighting and sound, as well as improve skills and acting techniques in this exciting introduction to all things theatre!
