Kids in the Kitchen: Around the World

Give your elementary-aged child a delicious passport to the world! Our "Around the World" culinary camp is a hands-on journey where young chefs (ages 5-12) explore diverse cultures, one recipe at a time. Participants will learning authentic cooking techniques, discovering exciting new flavors, and follow multiple recipes each day of camp from start to finish.  After tasting their creations, students will box them up for home (if there is any left)!  

Culinary classes in The Makery are not only fun and tasty, but expose children to learning self-reliance, reading comprehension, units of measurement, fractions, utensil skills, kitchen safety, planning, and patience. 

Each child needs to bring a lunch and a water bottle. Plenty snacks will be provided.  

Kelsey is the instructor for this camp.  She has been working with young children for over a decade and  enjoys bringing her creative side to classes in The Makery.
